Candidates Make Their Cases at JKV Ahead of August Primary
John Knox Village (JKV) in Pompano Beach is its own polling station, and has one of the highest percentage of voter turnout in the state of Florida.
With that, hosted by the Florida Life Care Residents Association (FLiCRA), an organization representing residents of Florida’s Life Plan communities, over 30 Broward and statewide candidates accepted the invitation to attend a Candidates Forum held at JKV on July 31, 2026.
Candidates for the Florida Governor’s race as well as those for House, Senate, Judge, School Board and other seats presented themselves to residents and made their cases.
