Melissa Honig, LNHA, MHSA
Chief Executive Officer
With more than a decade of leadership experience in senior living, Melissa B. Honig is recognized for her resident-centered approach, commitment to innovation, and passion for enhancing the quality of life for older adults. She now serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of John Knox Village of Pompano Beach, FL, becoming the first woman to lead the organization in its 59-year history.
Previously, Melissa served as Executive Director of Valle Verde, a HumanGood Life-Plan Community in California, where the community earned national recognition from U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from James Madison University and a Master of Health Services Administration from The George Washington University.
Melissa is actively involved in the senior living industry through leadership and speaking engagements with organizations including LeadingAge and The Alzheimer’s Association.
Her leadership at John Knox Village continues to strengthen its reputation as a leader in wellness-focused, forward-thinking senior living.
