Whether it is a classical concert presented by the Venetian Arts Society, a visit from the Young Artists of the Florida Grand Opera or the annual Summerfest appearance of Symphony of the Americas, John Knox Village is becoming a regular venue for exceptional entertainment. Yet, beyond the retrospectives of legendary opera stars Renata Scotto and Sherrill Milnes, or the more contemporary chanteuses Lisa Renae Harmon and Elizabeth Caballero, John Knox Village has a varied population of talented residents who enjoyed performing in the arts during their own younger years. The fervor for performance does not diminish among these residents even though the energy level is slightly lowered.
